Sometimes a plant will progress either slower or faster than expected, and special quarters must be found to retard or speed up the process, as needed. Here a member's cool, dark back bedroom was used to hold back a beautiful specimen plant of R.'Kristen' (R. yakushimanum X 'Bow Bells').
