Parentage: (Exbury seedling X atlanticum) x ('Chelsea Reach' x viscosum)

Flower Peak: June 4 in Dover, NH

Height: 6.25 feet

Fragrance: moderate

Notes: This is a fast growing plant. Flowers and leaves are large and of very heavy substance exceeding that of many elepidote rhododendrons. New stems are almost as thick as a lead pencil. This cross was treated with colchicine, possibly a tetraploid.
