Public Plant Sale and Auction

The Massachusetts Chapter's Plant Sale and Auction is held annually on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend at the Elm Bank Reservation in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
Activities include the following:
- Judged Flower Show -- a dazzling display of 300+ rhododendron and azalea trusses
- Plant Sale -- rhododendron and companion plant selections not commonly found in local nurseries.
- Auction -- exceptional rhododendrons and trees of landscape quality THE MAIN EVENT!!
- Lectures -- informative lectures and demonstrations on the installation, care, and selection of rhododendrons
Don't miss the opportunity to learn from and talk with enthusiastic Chapter members with extensive experience successfully growing rhododendrons in New England. Come enjoy the full color range of the genus Rhododendron.
The auction and plant sale provides the public the opportunity to see (often in flower) and purchase landscape sized recently introduced rhododendrons. Recently introduced Weston Nursery and Dr. Gustav Mehlquist hybrids are often featured.
Parking, admission, and lectures are free.
